Today is a loss. There’s absolutely nothing I can do about that. I’m having yet another stormy summer flare, and there’s nothing I can do to feel less miserable. It’s days like these when even small comforts aren’t comforting, and I’m just stuck waiting out the clock hoping for a better tomorrow.
Well, there is something I can do today besides waiting for the day to end. I can do what I can to make *tomorrow* better. Any little thing I can muster.
Some ideas of things to do to make a better tomorrow:

- Set out clothes for the morning, for exercise, and/or for after work
- Do a small chore (like watering the plants)
- Wash the dishes
- Spend five minutes cleaning something
- Start a load of laundry
- Take a shower
- Set sneakers on the walking pad
- Spend ten minutes starting one of tomorrow’s work tasks
- Prepare a meal or meals or ingredients for tomorrow
- Load the coffee maker
- Portion out pet food
- Make a to-do list for tomorrow, in order of importance
- Finish a blog article that’s been in “draft” mode since January (hehe OMG)
- Go to bed early
I don’t have kids, so I’m not an expert there, but I bet if you’re a parent, you can brainstorm a list of kid-related stuff, too.
