Women & Cultural Diversity

Take It or Leave It?

Ditching the Negatives from our Girlhood and Celebrating the Best of our Cultures as We Become Women

We’ve all had unique experiences growing up in a beautifully diverse world. Our backgrounds helped to shape who we are and what we have to give. Part of that shaping involves what we choose to leave behind and rise above.

This is an empowering storytelling event to share how we’re evolving as women while we discover our personal best practices on…

  • Racism
  • Sexism
  • Gender violence
  • Gender identity
  • Sexuality
  • Spirituality
  • Nutrition
  • Disability
  • Mental health
  • Self-care
  • Beauty
  • Romance
  • Career

…and celebrate the best we bring from our diverse cultures. We’ll also share knowledge and resources, particularly resources available on campus, so we can further better our lives.
