Neuse Cliffs State Park, April 1, 2006

Yet again, I have a Saturday when I don't feel like hanging out at the homestead, so I plan myself a day trip.  First, I go to Neuse Cliffs State Park for some light hiking.  Then I visit a winery and sample about a dozen different muscadine wines.  Then, I do some outlet shopping, during which I finally acquire a gargoyle.  Next, I treat myself to some seafood and beer at the Outback, and finally, I go catch a screening of the fabulous Ice Age 2: The Meltdown.  What can I say?  I'm a good date.  Below are many of the shots I took in the state park.
