my Niagara Falls adventure, Ontario, September 22 thru September 23, 2003

Leaving my gig in Harris, MI, I was planning to drive straight home, 16 hours, via the turnpike, but then I thought, maybe stop for the night somewhere?  Then I realized I could add 1 or 2 hours to the trip, skip the dreaded turnpike, which means saving $20 on tolls, and stop for the night in Niagara Falls in Canada.  This would mean just one night at home instead of 2 before going on to the next gig, but when Mom calls saying the power is out at home, my decision is easy.  I book a motel in Niagara Falls.
