The Funny Bone, Evansville, Indiana, August 28 thru August 31, 2003

I work with my good friend Big Ed Caylor this week, and didn't even know I was working with him until a week before!  In the photo with us is the club manager, Kim; she's very cool, very fun.  And Ed got that red shirt on sale at JCPenney!!  He's so proud.

Ed always travels with his homemade salsa.  YUM.  It doesn't last very long.

During the day Friday, I go for some thoroughbred racing at Ellis Park!!  I lost $9.

Saturday afternoon Ed and I go bowling!!!  I bowl 139.  Yes, that is my total from 2 games.  Perhaps I should just stick with golf, where I can easily break 139 in one game.

Saturday night at the show, Ed and I meet a couple bona fide "carnies" -- Jay and Heather.  They travel all along the Mississippi, from Texas to Wisconsin, working carnivals.  Wonderful people...who had so much fun the first show, they stayed for the second!!

Sunday night, Danny Browning shows up to MC the show.

And after a grueling match, I beat Bill, the bartender, in chess.  Look how sad he is.
