ANOTHER even MORE beautiful day for a drive in South Dakota!

I stop a few times for photos of the foggy, frozen Dakota landscape:

When I arrive at the Brookings Inn, they hook me up with the executive room, all because I asked about wireless internet.  Nice folks.

My room has a view of the snowy mini golf course.

Tonight, while the headliner is onstage, I find a quiet dark place next to a fireplace with the BUFFALO head above it!  Quite cool.  And I can still see the show via the big screen projection.

Outside tonight ... those dark specs in the trees are all birds.  Quite loud.  Makes me nervous.  There was a movie about this.
