Here's an elk I find in the park. This is on film, and yes, in focus.
More of the elk. I use automatic exposure. I probably ought to learn manual. Oh, and the focus thing.
Here's a shot from my digital, zoomed in and cropped. As you can see, I am gaining a lot by using the telephoto. I bought it specifically for close-ups of wildlife in the National Parks.
