getting there ...
This is a very quick sketch from the international terminal of Los Angeles International Airport. It's a boy squatting by the window watching the airplanes move in and out. You may notice I wrote the date: 10-19-04. Because I cross the international date line, my flights begin on the 19th, and I arrive in New Zealand on the 21st. Returning from New Zealand, I will go back in time.
The blue you will see behind the paper in all my sketches from this trip is my sleeping bag at my friend Randy's place in Champaign, Illinois. I photograph my sketches here on November 29th, the day after I finally begin building the web pages for my trip. Nope, Randy doesn't have a scanner. But he does have the original Nintendo!!!
