About the larger, black & white photos.... These photos, as you may have already guessed, were created back while I was under the influence of prescription drugs. I had mono, so they gave me steroids, which resulted in insomnia, which, paired with my quarantined isolation and extreme boredom, led to an immense creative and productive state, not to mention the munchies. The photos are captured from a video I shot in a shoddily-lit photo studio that I assembled in my living room (in my old Knoxville bachelor pad) in about 10 minutes. I’d had 2 hours of sleep in the previous 24 hours, and my hair wasn’t washed. I also did my taxes while in this same state. I’m eligible for food stamps. *** And how did I get mono? They say you get it from kissing, but I'm not so lucky. But I'm sure it had something to do with 6 weeks in a row on the road (this in '02-'03 winter) that included shows in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. *** The rubber chicken’s name is Henry.

[The color pictures in the background are a preview of some of the photography to be seen on the photo road journal.  Try to guess which pictures are from which cities.  Your choices are:  Queenstown, New Zealand; Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada; New York, New York; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; (2 from) Las Vegas, Nevada; Sioux City, Iowa; Provincetown, Massachusetts; Duluth, Minnesota; New Orleans, Louisiana; Orlando, Florida; Madison, Wisconsin.]

Thanks for stopping by! Please return often. I add stuff, I correct typos, and I do general tweaking which makes me feel like I'm doing something important. If nothing else, you can make the little numbers on my little hit counter go up.
