The headliner, D.S., onstage .....

..... and while he's onstage, I talk Mike, the lovely man who owns the joint, into dashing up the block to the carnival so we can snag some funnel cake .....

..... then we pig out .....

..... and I stick around a little while afterwards to listen to the band and watch Kinston folks tear up the dance floor.
