hotel dock
After my visit downtown, I help myself to the dock behind the hotel.

I dip my toes in the Mississippi for the first time ever. Feels great!!
And then I go out and lie down one on of the little piers. I do some writing, and just lie and float and listen to the water and the bouncing pier and the gulls and the ducks and the occasional boat or jet ski. Here's the southern view.
